The Qatar Airways GKA Kite World Tour Freestyle season finale occurs at Fuwairit Kite Beach, Qatar, from December 10 to 14, 2024, where the world champions for both men and women will be determined.
This event is the concluding stop of the Freestyle discipline, following previous competitions held in Dunkerque, France, and Cauipe, Brazil.
Brazilian Bruna Kajiya, a four-time world champion, tops the women’s standings after victories in Dunkerque and a strong showing in Cauipe. Meanwhile, Spain’s Rita Arnaus, making her return to competition after a lengthy injury break, remains a formidable challenger after finishing second in both events. For the men, Switzerland’s Maxime Chabloz and France’s Arthur Guillebert each have one victory and one second-place finish, with Chabloz slightly ahead based on countbacks.
Fuwairit Kite Beach, famous for its perfect conditions, will once again host the champion crowning, enhancing its reputation as a premier kiteboarding venue. The finale guarantees thrilling action as part of a season that included 14 stops across eight countries and four kiteboarding disciplines.
