Following a wonderful evening of hospitality in the Old City and a dinner with teams and officials at a local venue, another spectacular day of racing unfolded here in Jeddah!
The Swedish Beyond team, featuring Martina Carlsson, Svea Sahlin, Amanda Ljunggren, Hanna Gaskell-Brown, and Hedvig Hedström, delivered the most remarkable comeback of the day.
Martina Carlsson stated: “Today was intense; we truly pushed it BEYOND our limits! The excellent team spirit and positive vibes resulted in four wins out of five. It was tough, yet we managed to keep it simple throughout.”
Nevertheless, Pauline Courtois and her team remain in the lead with a perfect record of wins after two round robins.
Tomorrow promises another fierce battle for the final round robin, as the qualifications for the semi-finals are still up for grabs.
