An Immersive Experience Awaits

The Département de la Vendée is presenting a 1,200 m² exhibition dedicated to the Vendée Globe. This immersive display allows visitors to experience the life of skippers on an IMOCA boat, complemented by visual and sound effects. Guests can also view the 40 skippers’ boats docked at the iconic Vendée Globe pontoon. Several legends from the Vendée Globe, including Titouan Lamazou, Michel Desjoyeaux, Alain Gautier, Armel Le Cleac’h, and François Gabart, have confirmed their attendance at the village.

Dining and Bar Options

The Village will feature a restaurant called ‘La cantine du Vendée Globe’, as well as food trucks, including ‘La Foodmobile’ from Major Partner Sodebo and V and B beer trucks. Water stations will be provided across the village for visitor convenience. The V and B Globe Bar will be open daily, offering a variety of entertainment. Activities will include autograph sessions with skippers and concerts every evening.

Round-table discussions will take place from Wednesday to Sunday at 2:15 PM throughout the Village, covering various topics, such as the oceanographic instruments used by skippers in collaboration with UNESCO and the Vendée Globe Foundation on 23 October.

Partner Booths and Official Merchandise

The booths of Vendée Globe partners and skippers’ sponsors will feature interactive games and activities throughout the day. A wide range of merchandise, including the official water bottle, the Panini album for the 2024 edition, and the race mascot, will be available at the Official Shop. The stands of partners and sponsors will provide interactive activities and challenges throughout the day. Visitors will have the opportunity to tour Ocean Calling’s IMOCA boat, climb the mast with Charal, and engage in an immersive experience in the sodebox, among other activities.

Positive Initiatives to Highlight

A designated area will focus on social and environmental projects, showcasing initiatives aimed at ocean protection and promoting a sustainable future. This will include the stand of the Vendée Globe Foundation.
