Blancpain reintroduces the renowned Air Command to collectors with the launch of two new limited edition models featuring camouflage-green dials. We previously covered this collection upon its initial limited release and again when the Air Command was integrated into the permanent collection. This new edition is subtle with its dials but maintains the impressive presence of the standard collection models. For clarity, the four standard versions available on the website—prior to the introduction of the new limited editions AC02 12B53 63 and AC03 12B53 63—include two in titanium and two in red gold, all equipped with blue dials.

It’s important to note that any color other than blue for the dial seems to be reserved for limited editions. The 42mm model is crafted in Grade 23 titanium and is limited to 200 pieces, while the smaller 36mm version, also in Grade 23 titanium, is limited to 100 pieces. Blancpain emphasizes in the press release that these two flyback chronographs are known as pairing watches, although they are not marketed as such.

Blancpain’s Limited Edition Camouflage Air Command Editions
The Air Command is a complete collection made up of only two flyback chronograph models, differentiated not just by size but also by their respective movements. The larger model features the automatic calibre F388B, while the smaller model is equipped with the automatic calibre F188B; both movements are proprietary.
